The Sinn U1 Collection is a family of automatic diver’s watches. Sinn has a history of putting their timepieces through their paces to truly test how robust and dependable they are, and this collection is no exception. Each watch is waterproof to European diving equipment standards, so a diver can be sure of an excellent performance up to 1000m diving depth (100 bar). Each watch in this collection is made using German Submarine Steel which is designed to be seawater-resistant and anti-magnetic. This ensures that each model can withstand plenty of exposure to the sea. The Sinn U1 watches are robust, reliable and masculine, ready for an underwater adventure.  

Core Features of the U1 Collection:

• The U1 watches are designed to have superior resistance to external influences, even under extreme conditions of use. 
• The cases are all made from German Submarine Steel. This ensures they are resistant to seawater. Sinn source this material from ThyssenKrupp Marine Systems. It is the same steel that forms the external hull of the German Navy’s new submarine class 212, the most advanced non-nuclear submarines in the world. 
• Each model in the collection features a captive diver’s bezel with minute ratcheting and a luminous key mark. It is very secure and cannot be moved unintentionally. 
• All of the Sinn U1 watches are waterproof and pressure-resistant to 1000m diving depth (100 bar). This is certified by the DNV GL. Each watch meets the requirements for waterproofness, as set out in standard DIN 8310 and are tested based on European diving equipment standards EN 250/EN14143. The watches are also resistant to low pressure. 
• The waterproofing is further improved by the screw-fastened case back and screwable crown. 
• The U1 watches feature scratch-resistant sapphire glass. 
• All of the Sinn U1 watches are powered by an automatic self-winding movement of the calibre SW 200-1 with a power reserve of 38 hours. It uses 26 bearing jewels and 28,800 semi-oscillations per hour to power the watch. The movement features a seconds stop function and is anti-magnetic as per DIN 8309. 
• The watches have a case diameter of 44mm, a band lug width of 22mm and a case thickness of 14.7mm. They each weigh 113 grams without a strap.

• The diver’s bezel is treated with TEGIMENT Technology and coated with black PVD. 
• This version has a full TEGIMENT bracelet and case, offering scratch resistent protection.
• The crown is placed at 4 o’clock so it does not put pressure on the back of the hand. 
• A date aperture can be found at the 3 o’clock position. 
• The hour, minute and second hands and baton indices are coated in luminescent colour for easy readability in all lights. The second hand is red for easy readability. 
• The dial features hour, minute and second indices for precise timekeeping. 
• This model is finished with a TEGIMENT finished stainless-steel two-link bracelet.
