The brand's logo is a fermata, the symbol for rest in musical notation. MeisterSunger is heavily inspired by the first mechanical clocks of the Middle Ages as they only had one hand. With a profile of only 10.5mm, the Pangea Day Date is highly competent and elegant on the wrist. Its sophisticated and novel open ring day and date design earned the Pangea Day Date collection the Red Dot Award, the German Design Award and the Good Design Award.

• The defining characteristics of this collection are the date and weekday chapter rings that encircle the centre of the dial.

• Each watch in this collection has an exhibition case back, allowing the wearer to observe and enjoy the movement that powers the watch. This is made of mineral glass.

• This model features a grey sunburst dial with one outer ring and two inner grey rings. 
• The two innermost rings display the date and the weekday. The current day and date align with the orange baton just below the 12 o’clock position on the dial. 
• The grey look is accentuated by small orange highlights. 
• The dial exhibits white Arabic numeral indices which contrast the grey portion of the dial. 
• A stainless steel case frames the dial. It measures 40mm in diameter and 10.5mm in height. 
• The watch is powered by a Swiss-made Sellita SW220 automatic movement, which has a power reserve of 38 hours. The movement has been modified to accommodate MesiterSinger’s single-hand design. 
• This model is finished with a dark brown leather strap which features a crocodile texture and contrast stitching.
