MeisterSinger was founded in 2001 and takes its name from a group of middle-class poets and singers from the 15th and 16th Century. The brand’s logo is a fermata, the symbol for rest in musical notation. MeisterSinger are heavily inspired by the first mechanical clocks of the Middle Ages as they only had one hand. During this period of history, people had no need for precise timing, so an idea of the time would suffice. By adopting this philosophy, the brand allows the wearer to focus on the quality of their time, rather than the quantity. The New Vintage Collection features watches with a classic 1950s style. Each of the watches has the recognisable single-hand dial and five-minute increment indices. The watches in this collection are designed in a popular 20th Century style, with each model having domed glass and a thin bezel.

• This model features an ivory dial with black double digit Arabic indices.
• The dial features indices to mark hours and 5-minute increments.
• A cut-out arched date display can be found between 2 and 4 o’clock. Five dates are visible, with a small dot showing the current date.
• Domed sapphire glass protects the dial.
• A stainless-steel case protects the dial. It measures 38mm in diameter and 10.15mm in height.
• This watch is powered by a Sellita SW 200-1 automatic movement. It uses 26 jewels and 28,800 semi-oscillations per hour to power the watch. The watch has a power reserve of 38 hours.
• The watch is water-resistant up to 50 metres (5 bar).
• This model is finished with a brown leather strap that fastens with a pin buckle.
