Echoing Longines’ commitment to its vast watchmaking heritage, the Longines Spirit Flyback revives the flyback movement that was first used by the brand in 1925. Unlike conventional chronographs, a flyback function allows the wearer to stop, reset and restart the chronograph hand with one press. Historically, this function was incredibly convenient for pilots. The flyback allowed them to time each flight stage in a quick and practical way, in order to aid with navigation.

• The round case is made of stainless steel and measures 42mm in diameter. 
• Completing the case design is a bidirectional rotating bezel made from green ceramic and a cap, crown and pushers made of 18-carat yellow gold. 
• To show off the watch’s calibre, the model has a sapphire crystal exhibition case back.
• A green leather strap with contrast stitching adds to the watch’s timeless appeal and gives it a more vintage look. 
• The large screw-in crown is decorated with a mixed finish and has an embossing of the Longines logo. 
• The shaded matte green dial is contrasted by applied Arabic numerals and gilt hands. 
• The dial is protected by a scratch-resistant sapphire crystal with several layers of anti-reflective coating on both sides.
