This is my third Garmin Fenix. I have been a big fan of the watch and its capabilities. I didn't need to upgrade from the 5X to the 6X but you can't take it with you!
So far I am delighted with my 6X. The additional screen size is really helpful to these old eyes. But I must admit to being very surprised at the improvements over the 5X.
I thought the only difference would be the screen size. (Case size is still the same at 51mm. It just has a larger screen inside. All space utilised now). But the watch keeps surprising me and impressing me with the stuff it can do. Really pleased. Great price too from First Class Watches.

If you like a decent sized watch that is hugely versatile and ram packed with brilliant functions look no further it ticks every box and then some!! First Class watches have been brilliant from start to finish, I put in my offer price in the evening and it was accepted almost immediately even though it was outside the business advertised normal working hours! Got my Fenix 6X Sapphire two days ago and it was just perfect, upgraded from a Forerunner 646 Music. I immediately updated the watch and all its maps, then proceeded to play with it non stop until just now to write this review. My main criteria for a watch is that it must have music, loadable maps and routes, and a long GPS life as I hike and do wild camping. I also use the OS Survey grid reference fields to double check my position in bad weather against a map, its just so convenient for that. The watch is reasonably large but the data screens and fields are configurable with so many choices you can spend hours setting up each individual activity to your liking, or even add more data screens and just display everything :-).
I am finding more and more really nice features like the compass, where you can lock a heading in, and then if you turn away from the heading the watch shows you with an ever growing red ring to the side of your error. Simple and fantastic.
I am sure that whatever your sport is, you will find an activity setup and data fields to satisfy you.
I know its only 2 days, but I am really pleased I took the plunge and upgraded.

Had originally ordered from another supplier, who'd let me down on delivery. Contacted 1st Class Watches, who price matched and delivered exactly as promised. Original supplier offered £35 additional discount to stick with them, but chose to forgo their offer and stick with 1st Class who hadn't let me down. They need to learn its not just about price, but service and trust too.The Garmin fenix 6X Pro Sapphire has been everything I hoped it would be, having upgraded from 3HR. The battery life and massively improved metrics are excellent.

Really great product and easily the current market leader when it comes to smart watches. 2 down falls to note when choosing your smart watch.
1.currently nationwide do not support garmin pay! So if paying by your phone is important to you then you may want to change banks! Nationwide have also stated no plans in place to change this.
2. You can’t send short or instant reply’s to messages like you can on the iwatch so if it is hands free notifications and replying you want again not for you.
Other than that I can’t fault it! And 100% worth the price tag over others on the market.
Would be nice to work with a wider variety of podcast suppliers but it works with runcast so just changing my normal postcast app for this... no issues.

This is my third Garmin watch from the Fenix range, which should say something about my trust in the brand.
I have owned the Fenix 3 5 and now 6x pro all with sapphire glass. I cannot rate these enough, I wear this watch all day every day and never had a problem with any of them. Never managed to scratch the glass and they have taken some knocks.
Now and then I have had some data transfer issues but this is down to not uploading the latest software.
Can’t speak for the other gps watches out there but for me and their ease of use and reliability its Garmin every time.

Had my Garmin Fenix 6X Pro Sapphire carbon Grey DLC from First class watches for over a month now. It's a quality time piece that looks fantastic whilst wearing suited and booted or when out exercising. Used it for running (treadmill, road) cycling, walking and during weights sessions and it tracks everything. I love everything about it and I would argue its one of the best pieces of tech I've ever bought. Highly recommend the product, it's money well spent and it will give your exercise regime a new dimension. First class watches were great on delivery also so can not fault anything.

Purchased the Fenix 6X Pro Sapphire its absolutely amazing! If you are thinking about pulling the trigger you won't regret it. I was in two minds whether I should get the 6 or 6X. I went with the 6X for the larger screen and battery life as I intend to use it for hiking as well. I have a 19cm wrist and it feels absolutely fine. As anyone who is looking at a Garmin knows you are pay more for a premium product, in the case of the Fenix 6x Sapphire you know that you are paying a price premium to have every metric and sport covered in a SPORTS watch that is nigh on indestructible. The Fenix in general is undoubtedly the ultimate sports watch, yes it has smart features but if you want a watch that will be a miniature phone on your wrist there are other watches for you. If you don't need mapping or the plethora of features this watch has to offer then you can find a more suitable watch for your money. However, if like me you do long unaided multi day hikes, you run, cycle, hike, climb, row etc. and you want a sports watch that has the state of the art technology, top notch build quality, rugged looks and a battery life that will put the majority of your gadgets to shame then this watch is for you.
The quality of this watch is head and shoulders above anything else on the market in my opinion. Yes it will take a while to get it set up exactly how you want it, but that's half the joy of owning such a device, delving deep into the settings and tweaking every minute detail to make your Fenix YOUR Fenix, you can make it work how you want it to, use or disable the features you do or don't want.
Simply put it's an incredible piece of kit. Of course the cost will turn many people away, it almost did for me, but at the end of the day I wanted a watch I could wear day in day out, that would stand the test of time and have the ability to keep up with my lifestyle while reflecting it as well. In all those ways and more the Fenix has done just that. There really isn't much else to say...except if you are struggling to decide if the money is worth the product, stop thinking and start buying you honestly won't regret it!

The pinnacle of sports watches is here. The screen is clear and the UI makes the watch easy to use. The physical buttons help when in exercise rather than a touch screen. Almost all activity and exercise can be tracked with plenty of data to keep all the anoraks and athletes happy. Outstanding.

Finally treated myself to an upgrade from Fenix 3 HR Sapphire to this amazing watch! I've been a fan of the Fenix range for many years now; they're robust watches, offer a lot of features and they seem to be reliable pieces of kit! I skipped the Fenix 5 range as I couldn't justify it as the 3 was still performing great, but I've been looking for an upgrade and came across the Fenix 6X Pro Sapphire on First Class Watches at a great price and great shipping. I've not had the watch for very long but it's packed full of features (I'm excited to try the PacePro function of the watch), battery life (if it lives up to the estimate) is massive, 19 days on a 90% charge, compared to the 3 HR which lasted just over a week without long/intense workouts, and I just can't say anything bad about the watch! I've knocked one star off for style as with the silicone band it comes with, it's not very stylish, but a leather band can be purchased and with the quick release/change function of the straps, can turn it into a stylish watch in no time!
Highly recommend the 6X Pro Sapphire, and FCW for their faultless service from start to finish.

Only used for a couple days. Bought because I needed something to work better for my triathlon training and needed something for suitable than my Samsung Galaxy watch.
So far it's incredible for training, giving me everything I need! The screen colours and resolution is not as good as my galaxy watch but if honest this isn't the same type of watch. The screen is actually far better to see in various lights whilst training.
If you're serious about sports, racing, expeditions etc, this is the watch for you.

I've always wanted a smartwatch as I'm a keen sportsman and love the outdoors.
