Let me start off by saying how smart this watch is. I was slightly wary when purchasing it that it would have a cheap, plasticky feel to it however this couldn't be further from the truth.

From the strap and bezel to the seriously cool backlight, this watch screams quality.

I bought it to add a bit of toughness and resistance to my watch collection. I may have only had it for around a week but so far, so good! This watch can take a bump which has been incredibly useful in my fairly labour intensive workplace.

The G-Shock name is known to be able to take a hit, and this model does not disappoint.

The features also make this watch a superb option. I am yet to find such a tech filled watch for such a great price. The time zone city choices offer extensive range so are hugely useful for any travellers out there. Even if you don't need it for this, it's still a nice feature to be able to check out worldwide times!

No doubt you will be aware of the huge list of features this watch can offer, I won't explore them here but be assured that they all deliver.

To conclude, this is a fantastic watch. If you want something rugged yet stylish, this if for you. It would be perfectly acclimatised to both a gym workout and smart meal out, it really is that versatile.

If you like the look of the watch, buy it now. It is simply awesome in the flesh and I am sure you will not be disappointed!

As a watch "collector" i've recently started to add G-Shocks to my 30+ collection of varying manufacturers. After purchasing a couple of limited editions i had my eye on this for a while and decided to treat myself. The chunky build quality is what you would expect of Casio G-Shocks, and has a few features i'm still exploring. The watch sets the time itself, simply by telling it where you are in the world (which is cool!)it has options for several alarm settings, and is a real looker with the all black "stealth" look,and can be worn, i feel, smart or casual. People have commented on some sites about the light being dim. I disagree, it illuminates the watch face adequately. It is a big watch, but doesn't look out of place on my wrist,and i'm not a big guy! All in all, a comfortable smart watch with a good few features.

this watch certainly met my expectations and more! i use it at work and with using magnets on a daily basis at work am made up it is resistant to magnetic forces.

This is by far the best watch I have ever owned....

The watch is extremely well made, and feels like it would take a lot of serious use before any damage occured, therefore making it ideal for outdoor activities. The watch feels sturdy, strong and the double pinned buckle makes sure it stays fitted.


The all black finish and grey face detail makes it look like something taken from a jets cockpit. The thick protective casing and glass ensures this watch looks the business.

The watches features are many and are all something that will fit into day to day use.

The manual was comprehensive, but within a short while most of the settings can be mastered.

I did read some negative comments about the back light, but it provides enough light to read the hands in total darkness.

Excellent watch, well made, looks good in stealth black. Purchased as a daily beater and it is perfect for the job.

Honestly the best watch I've ever bought, and I own quite a few! Looks bulky,but it's surprisingly light and looks like something Rambo would wear. The functions are quite easy to use once you get your head around the instruction manual. Also, don't listen to anyone who has a problem with the backlight - it illuminates the hands perfectly and that's all you need it to do. Surfing next weekend so will see what sort of punishment it can take and I don't reckon it'll let me down. Get it and see for yourself...!

Great watch bought for holidays and sports. I love the "stealth" look of the it and the World Time Zones for travelling. Great price from First Class Watches which makes it terrific value. Really pleased with it and it's a welcome addition to my collection.

From picture on the internet to wrist was extremely easy and quick. First Class Watches was not my first choice as it was £10 more than other sites, this particular watch was out of stock with them, but I am very glad I did. Delivery was next day and included in the price and they seem like specialists. The service was perfect. The watch itself was better in real life than the picture and description suggested so I am very happy with my purchase. If you have taken the time to read this review then I would urge you to buy your watch from this site even if it's a little pricier as it's website you can trust which is always a worry when shopping on t'net. Top marks all round.

I bought this product as a replacement for a G-Shock DW9051 which I foolishly damaged. Although the watch was still functioning fine I had broke the casing and I struggled to find a new casing for the nearly 10 year old watch. The GA 100 is a nice looking watch slightly bigger than the DW9051 but still understated and ideal for day to day use. The analogue and digital display is something that has pleased me, ideal for a quick check of time and the date and date digital display handy when filling out invoices especially when I'm busy and I seem to forget what day it is never mind the date. The double buckle strap is also a nice touch and makes the watch feel more secure on your wrist. It also comes with the usual timer, stopwatch, alarm and world time allowing you to display the time of another country at the touch of a button. The price is reasonable too, £80 for a watch that will give you years service if previous G-Shock watches are anything to go by.
This product is exactly what you come to expect from a G-Shock watch, lightweight yet with a robustness and durability about it, exactly what you need for a day to day watch.
There are only two slight problems for me with this watch. The analogue display sometimes blocks the digital display at certain times during the day making the digital display difficult (not impossible) to read. The light is also not quite as good as my previous G-Shock. The light illuminates from the bottom of the screen which just does enough for you to read the digital display, whereas my previous watch illuminated the whole screen making it very easy to read. Although the analogue hand are luminous and can be read in the faintest bit of light.
As I've mentioned I use this watch daily for work as a car valeter and if I get the same reliability out of my previous watch i will be well pleased.

No really, it is! which makes it AWESOME! It's like a stealth bomber attached to my wrist at the moment.

I love the styling, the colour and the ease of use.

The product arrived well packaged, very quickly, presented in the classic G-Shock tin. After reading the manual it was easy to set the hands and time zone.

I've used it in the dark and the lamp (which you are advised in the manual not to use while cycling at night so as not to distract other road users) is not that bright but it is enough to see the hands and digital screens.

The functions are all there, stopwatch, count down timer and alarm. The thing will even work out speed for you if you input the distance travelled. Quite why i need to know my Mach Speed is a bit beyond me but it's a nice touch.

The resin case and strap is comfortable to wear. My last watch was a Casio Pro-Trek in Titanium, i know this is not going to be as durable and does not benefit from solar power but hey, it's less than a 1/4 of the price!

All in all, Good watch, ENJOY!

My favourite watch yet!
It's big and chunky, but not so big that it looks out of place, even at the office. Looks really stealthy too.
It's really comfortable to wear, and isn't at all heavy.
The world time is a great feature and the stopwatch is very handy when I go swimming.
I was a bit worried about how easy it would be to read the negative display, but I've not had any problems so far.
Overall, it's a fab watch and my favourite one to date.

This is the second G-Shock that I've owned, and like the first one, it's a great product. When I first tried it on, I was a little unsure because it has a slightly larger face than my previous model, but I soon got used to the size. The face is easy to read and the backlight is brilliant. I like the fact the watch doesn't have any bright writing on it, so appears understated. The buttons on the watch are quite large which is very useful when wearing gloves. It's easy to operate and has some great functions. All in all a great product!
