It’s official! Andi Lee the brand development director from Chlobo came to visit today to tell us the good news and show us the stunning collections of bracelets, necklaces, rings & earrings that the brand sell for men and women. The collections from Chlobo look beautiful and its a brand that we can’t wait to get into our shop window just as the sun us starting to come out!
The brand was founded by Chloe Moss thirteen years ago, Chloe at the young age of 21 packed up and set sail on an adventure that was to last ten months backpacking around the world in search of creative inspiration in order to discover her niche. Chloe visited lots of different countries and explored their cultures, design styles and people. Chloe came across the island of Bali and was immediately in love with the breathtaking island.
“I fell in love with the Indonesian island and the gorgeous people as soon as I arrived. Instead of staying for ten days I ended up staying for three months!”
After discovering this incredible hidden island she was absolutely blown away by the unique and intricate designs and craftsmanship that goes into their buildings, clothes and jewellery. Chloe had found her inspiration and set about establishing Chlobo. Upon her arrival back home she instantly set about replacing her spare bedroom into her new Chlobo central hub and design studio.
Chloe set about making bracelets at first, she wanted them to encompass everything she loved about her experience in Bali. She looked back to her trip, reflecting on her experiences and memories of the incredible island. To this very day that same inspiration is used to maintain the essence of Chlobo in everything the brand designs.
Fast forward to today and you can see how far the Chlobo brand has come thanks to the passion and dedication of Chloe Moss and her team. Chlobo is now recognised as an established household name and their famous bracelets can be seen on men’s and women’s wrists around the UK and Ireland. The brands dazzling pieces can be found in many of the popular magazines including Hello, Grazia and Professional Jeweller. The brand has even been shortlisted for the “Jewellery Brand of the Year” category for the Jewellery Awards and will be competing against Clogau, Links of London, Nomination, Pandora, Swarovski, Thomas Sabo and Uno de 50.
The brand is a family run company and they pride themselves on outstanding service and support. Their offices are based in Chester and all their jewellery is hand made or assembled in the UK. only the beads are made outside of the UK at a high quality jewellers in Italy and are sent back to the UK to be assembled, the plating is also carried out in Italy.
The brand have committed to only allowing independent stockists to sell their jewellery as they believe it allows them to provide a more personal and involved service to their retailers which we love! The brand also has a silver smith who brings a lot of their designs concepts to life who is based in the Jewellery Quarter in Birmingham. In total the brand has 170 stockists across the UK and Ireland who stock anything from small ranges to the full collections and all their stores do really well with this popular brand.
All Chlobo jewellery comes with a 12 month warranty so in the unlikely event of anything happening to your piece of jewellery in the first year you can get in touch with us and we can arrange to send the jewellery into the brand for a full repair free of charge (terms and conditions apply*).
