Seiko’s New Presage and 5 Sports Additions

Seiko Presage Style 60s European Exclusive In ‘Retro Blue’ SRPL19J1

A classic model inspired by the design principles of the 1960s, this limited edition timepiece is exclusively available in Europe. The pale retro blue dial, inspired by the pastel colours associated with European décor at the time, exhibits silver-tone baton indices and silver-tone hands. The hour and minute hands are coated with LumiBrite, so the time is always visible; even in low-light conditions. Further enhancing this legibility, a date aperture features at 3 o’clock. Ensuring both great clarity and durability, a box-shaped Hardlex crystal protects the dial. Moreover, a 40.8mm stainless steel case frames the dial. This, alongside the contrasting blue bezel and dial design, draws inspiration from the iconic Seiko 1964 Chronograph.

Within this case lies the watch’s in-house built calibre 4R35 automatic movement. Accurate to +45 / -35 seconds per day and with a 41-hour power reserve, said movement guarantees reliable and precise timekeeping. A stainless steel bracelet concludes the design of this European Exclusive. However, if this is not to your taste, the watch is accompanied by an additional cream nylon NATO strap. Designed to complement the soft blues of the dial and the bezel, it enhances the vintage look of the timepiece perfectly.

Seiko 5 Sports x Yuto Horigome Limited Edition IV SRPL31K1

This timepiece is the fourth collaboration between the multiple Olympic gold medallist Yuto Horigome and Seiko 5 Sports. In a classic Seiko 5 Sports Field design, this Flieger watch adopts a retro appearance. The black graduated dial showcases Yuto’s signature logo design as well as vintage-style cream Arabic numerals and hands; which ensure optimal readability in all light conditions. For a contrasting pop of colour, the second hand has a red tip. Not only does this add to the overall design but it helps to tell the time easier; a key design feature of a Flieger watch. Further enhancing the legibility of the watch, a date and day aperture features at 3 o’clock. Measuring 39.4mm in diameter, a stainless steel case frames the dial. The case features a curved Hardlex crystal, so the watch’s clarity and durability levels are good.

Within this case, and visible through the exhibition case back, is the watch’s in-house built calibre 4R36 automatic movement. With a 41-hour power reserve, said movement guarantees reliable and precise timekeeping. For an added touch, the case back features Yuto’s signature cross-feather logo design; just like it appears on the dial. An embossed black calf leather strap concludes the design of this Limited Edition timepiece. Unique to this collaboration, it enhances the vintage style of the watch perfectly.

These new additions are not available to purchase until November. However, if they have caught your eye, you can pre-order them on our website. Click here for the Presage Style 60s European Exclusive and click here for the 5 Sports X Yuto Horigome Limited Edition.
