The All-New Longines Conquest Colours
The Case and Dial
As their name suggests, the all-new Conquest Colours watches are available with three different colour dials: green (L34304026), pink (L34304996) and blue (L34304926). While the colour pathway varies, the dial layout and features are universal. Silver-polished hands and applied silver baton indices adorn each dial. For optimal readability, they all feature a Swiss Super-LumiNova coating. As well as this, each dial features a date aperture at 6 o’clock. To ensure this pretty display remains in a pristine condition, a scratch-resistant sapphire crystal protects each dial. With several layers of anti-reflective coating on both sides, said crystal not only provides great durability levels but clarity levels too.
Protecting the core of each watch is a round stainless steel case. Measuring 30mm in diameter, it emphasises the sporty yet elegant design that the Conquest Sport line is so well know for. On the posterior, each watch features an exhibition case back. Through the transparent sapphire crystal window, the wearer can observe and enjoy the watch’s movement. Moreover, aided by the screw-down crown, each watch is water-resistant up to 100 metres; making them a perfect choice for everyday wear.
The Movement and Finishing Touches
Visible through the exhibition case back, an L888 calibre automatic movement powers each watch. Beating at 25’200 vibrations per hour, the movement features a monocrystalline balance spring which offers superior magnetic resistance. As well as this, the movement boasts an impressive 72-hour power reserve.
For an understated elegance, each watch concludes with a stainless steel bracelet. However, for a more sporty look, the blue model is also available with a rubber strap offering (L34304929). Each stainless steel bracelet fastens with a triple folding clasp and push-piece opening mechanism. Not only does this provide great security on the wrist, but also comfort, which is of great importance; especially if you’re going to wear this watch every day.
