Intuitive maps tell you all you need to know about the landscape. In addition, contour lines, paths and other important landmarks are available in three different map styled. For maximum safety, all navigation features can be used to offline mode too; with a Vertical Solar on your wrist, you’ll never got lost exploring. Whilst on a demanding hike, it is important to understand your surroundings, so the altimeter, barometer and compass will help you maintain spatial awareness with ease. As well as this, a storm alarm and up to date weather forecast will help you prepare to face the elements.
Suunto Vertical is also an excellent companion for everyday training. From running to cross-country-skiing, over 95 sports models are loaded onto each watch. Calculated based on heart rate variability, you can receive personalised feedback on your training load, progress and recovery. This way you know when to train and when to let your body rest. The All-New Suunto Vertical Solar Watches
The new Suunto Vertical watches are available in three colour pathways: all black (SS050978000), canyon (SS050987000) and sand (SS050986000). Each model features a glass fibre-reinforced polyamide case and a stainless steel bezel. In addition, each watch has a vivid 1.4″ touchscreen that adds convenience and ease like never before. A strong sapphire crystal protects the display, and to ensure optimal durability the watches are tested according to military standards. Suunto Vertical Solar watches are also able to withstand temperatures between -20°C and +55°C; they can be worn in almost any environment that the human body can withstand. To guarantee comfort, each watch features a silicone strap with holes. The holes allow your skin to easily breathe and any water to easily pass through.
Even with the bright LED display, you can still enjoy impressive battery life. Thanks to solar charging capabilities, each colour variant’s battery life will last up to 85 hours in the most accurate GPS setting and up to 60 days in daily mode. Some solar variants can even go up to one year without charging! Moreover, each watch is water-resistant up to 100 metres. So if you want to wear your timepiece for a waterfall hike or even swimming training, it is more than suitable.
