Loud and bold watch brand Swatch recently released its new Pride 2023 Collection. Taking place every year in June, Pride Month is dedicated to celebrating the LGBTQIA+ community. Swatch has long been associated with figures from the community, collaborating with artists such as Mika and Keith Haring previously. Annually, the brand has released a new Pride collection to show their support. Last year’s collection revolved around a rainbow motif from the Pride flag, but this year’s takes it a step further. Its boldest Pride collection to date, the Pride 2023 ‘Proudly’ watches embody the flag itself. Each one reflects a certain mantra and takes a different colour of the rainbow, making them ideal matching friendship watches. The New Swatch Pride 2023 Collection: Now Available at First Class Watches
The core specifications of each of the Pride 2023 watches are uniform across the models. All watches are fitted with a 41mm round bio-sourced plastic case, which makes them ideal for everyday wear and tear. Additionally, each model is splash resistant but should not be submerged in water.
Securing each model to the wrist is a silicone strap that fastens with a plastic pin buckle. The colour of this strap corresponds to its primary colour scheme, creating a bold but cohesive look. As an added detail, the watch straps are accompanied by two special rainbow loops. When aligned, these loops make up the complete rainbow flag.
