Craftsmanship Series Green Unushi Dial Limited Edition SPB295J1
This new launch from Seiko is limited to just 2000 pieces worldwide. This makes the timepiece incredibly collectable and desirable, making it a must-have piece for any fans of the brand. As part of the Presage collection, this model upholds the distinctive characteristics of the collection. Every Presage watch has a timeless look with a focus on precise mechanical timekeeping. The distinctive green dial of this model is inspired by the Kenrokuen Gardens, a vast and beautiful green space located in the heart of Kanazawa, Japan. The unusual look of the dial is created using Urushi which is a type of natural lacquer which is taken from the sap of the Japanese lacquer tree. Layer upon layer of this lacquer is painted onto the dial using a form of traditional Japanese craftsmanship.
This watch is part of Seiko’s Craftsmanship Series. The watches in this series celebrate the Japanese ‘Takumi’. Every watch in this collection is individually handcrafted by master artisans to create beautifully unique timepieces. The design of each model combines Seiko’s latest watchmaking technologies with centuries of traditional Japanese artistry.
