Women's Watches For Work 2020

The world has transformed in the last month. World leaders announce total lock downs across the globe and life feels different as we adjust to the new protocols. Whilst many in the NHS and supermarkets still going to work, for the most part, many of us are working from home and practising social distancing.

Whilst we are allowed to go out for one form of exercise a day here in the UK, we are unsure of how long these new measures will be in place. With that in mind it can feel daunting, spending everyday in your home and not seeing friends or loved ones. Rather than looking at the negatives, we can transform our perspective on this situation and find all the ways that we can utilise our time on a daily basis.

With that in mind, here are our recommendations on how to curb the boredom of quarantine in the coming week.

1. Home Workouts- First Class Fitness

Keeping active is one of the best ways to keep both your mind and body in check. From following YouTube videos to creating a set up in your garden for a workout and enjoying the weather. The fitness industry has seen a boost in sales in the last few weeks as more and more people find new ways to keep entertained and active. Fitness watches are a bonus with this as you can also track your fitness and maintain your goals. Fitness watches are also good for keeping motivation. If you haven’t got one then we would recommend looking at our top fitness brands, Garmin and Polar.

2. Catch Up On Your Favourite TV Shows

With so much spare time on your hands, now is the perfect time to catch up on your favourite TV shows on Netflix or other streaming sites. With plenty of binge-worthy shows to choose from and a wide range of streaming sites to browse, it will certainly kill some time over the next few weeks.

3. Read A Book

Ordinarily, this may not be your first choice of activity, however, it can actually be beneficial for your mind. Reading is a good way to relax and can be enjoyed from the comfort of your bed or in the garden whilst you catch the rays. If you have a book collecting dust on your shelf that you haven’t had the time to read, now is the perfect time to tick it off your list.

4. Gardening

The past week we have seen an increase in clear skies and sunny spells. If you are itching to spend time outside, tidying the garden is a happy medium of spending time outside but also in keeping with social distancing advise. It is also the right season for it as the days get warmer and flowers begin to bud.

5. Take Up A New Hobby

On a normal week, many of us work full time and don’t feel like there are enough hours in the day. With more time on our hands we can put energy into starting something new from smaller hobbies such as knitting and sewing to more time consuming hobbies such as baking and even starting a new online pursuit.
