In exciting news, Seiko has unveiled its all-new Presage ‘Japanese Zen Gardens’ watches! As part of the brand’s Presage collection, these watches combine timeless looks with precise mechanical timekeeping. In addition, they each have a minimalistic design with a distinctly Japanese aesthetic. This duo of timepieces draws inspiration from the traditional Japanese zen garden. These gardens are minimalist and tranquil spaces where one can relax and feel connected with nature. The natural elements of the gardens, such as rocks, sand, and plants, create a soothing environment. So Seiko has made sure to include these textural elements within the design of each watch. Core Features of The All-New Seiko Presage ‘Japanese Zen Gardens’ Watches
The colourway of each model may vary, but the design features are universal across the entire launch. Underneath dual-curve sapphire crystal glass, each watch exhibits a three-dimensional pattern reminiscent of the patterns of a Japanese dry garden. This pattern is the recognisable ‘Karesansui’ which looks like the raked sand or gravel that promotes mindfulness. In addition, each dial exhibits a mix of Roman numeral indices and baton indices with curved hour and minute hands. An open-heart display features at the 9 o’clock position while a 24-hour sub-dial features at the 10:30 position. Not only do these details add to the distinctive design but they also showcase the beauty of Seiko’s Japanese watchmaking craft.
Seiko’s in-house built 4R39 automatic movement powers each timepiece. Accurate to -35/+45 seconds a day, and with a 41-hour power reserve, the movement is both reliable and precise; ensuring accurate timekeeping day in and out.

Seiko Presage ‘Japanese Zen Gardens’ In Fern Green SSA463J1
The colours of this Seiko depict the lush greenery of nature. With a glossy finish, the ‘Fern Green’ dial features a mix of silver-coloured Roman numerals and baton indices with silver-tone hands. The second hand and sub-dial hands, however, are gold-coloured. While adding extra elegance to the design, they also aid the readability of the dial. Measuring 41.8mm in diameter, a stainless steel case frames the dial. Comfortable and extremely durable, it ensures the watch is the ultimate companion for daily wear. Within the case, and visible through the exhibition case back, is the watch’s automatic movement. A 4R39 calibre with a 41-hour power reserve, it ensures great precision and accuracy. The wearer can also briefly view this movement through the open-heart display at 9 o’clock. A stainless steel bracelet, that fastens with a deployment clasp, concludes the striking yet serene design of this Seiko.
