The Dial and Case
Keeping things simple, each watch exhibits a deep black dial with contrasting light blue Arabic numerals. As well as this, white baton indices and a singular needle-shaped white hour hand. The special feature of both models, however, is the use of SuperLuminova on the numerals, hour markers and the hand. Due to this, the time is always visible; even if you’re in the dark. To ensure each display remains in pristine condition, a domed sapphire crystal protects it. The domed nature of the crystal provides both great durability and clarity levels.
Protecting the core of each watch is a stainless steel case, and this is where differences start to make themselves known. To ensure the summer special №03 watches suit a variety of wrists, they come in two different sizes; 38mm (S-BM9902B) and 43mm (S-AM902B0). The choice of two case sizes guarantees there is a model for all. Not only this, but it provides a broader window for styling opportunities. For example, a lady wearing the larger 43mm model for a ‘borrowed from my boyfriend’ look. Furthermore, each watch is water-resistant up to 50 metres; so they are both perfect for everyday wear.
The Movement and Finishing Touches
While each summer special is powered by a Swiss-made automatic movement, the calibre varies. The 38mm model has a Sellita SW300 with a 42-hour power reserve, whereas the 43mm model has a Sellita SW200 with a 38-hour power reserve. Both movements have been specially modified for MeisterSinger’s single-hand watches and can be viewed through the six-fold screwed mineral glass exhibition case back.
Each Summer Special №03 is finished with a light blue vintage saddle leather strap. Providing great security, as well as comfort on the wist, the straps fasten with a standard buckle clasp.
