About Damasko
Although founded in 1989, by Konrad Damasko, Damasko wasn’t formed until 1994. And it wasn’t until the early 2000s that the family-owned German watch manufacturer hugely hit the market; having conquered the art of crafting watches strong enough to survive anything. There are a few remarkable highlights to Damasko’s 30-year history that add to the desirability of each of its timepieces.
From day one, Damasko began exploring innovative materials, specialising in hardened stainless steel, which, to this day, offers a strength four times harder than the stainless steel used in many wristwatches on the current market. In 2008, Damasko produced its own in-house patented EPS silicon hairsprings and also began expanding its diverse range of mechanical wristwatches with in-house movements in 2019. The current development of said movements provides a production depth of up to 90% with the Damasko manufacture watches; which is anything but standard for the industry today.
