The All-New Seiko Presage Cocktail Time GMT Watches
The all-new Seiko Presage Cocktail Time GMT watches are a huge move from Seiko as they are the first in this collection to have a GMT function. These timepieces have this new increased functionality to accompany their minimalistic designs with distinctly Japanese aesthetics. The Cocktail theme cannot be missed in these timepieces. Each model has a unique sunray design to resemble the view through a cocktail glass. The GMT hand of each watch is inspired by the stem of a glass, and the dainty second hand is reminiscent of a cocktail stirrer. So, if you want to match your favourite drink this summer, these watches are the perfect pick.
Seiko Presage ‘Skydiving’ Cocktail Time GMT (40.5mm) Light Blue Dial / Stainless Steel Bracelet SSK037J1
Star Bar’s ‘Skydiving’ cocktail balances sweet and sour flavours. It is made using rum, lime juice and blue curaçao, creating its distinctive pale blue colour. The light blue dial of this timepiece is adorned with silver hands and indices alongside a date aperture at 3 o’clock. A stainless steel case houses the calibre 4R34 GMT movement that powers the watch. This case is complemented by a matching stainless steel bracelet. This model is water resistant up to 5 bar.
Seiko Presage ‘Rusty Nail’ Cocktail Time GMT (40.5mm) Brown Dial / Brown Leather Strap SSK039J1
The ‘Rusty Nail’ cocktail is made with Scotch whiskey and Drambuie. It balances sweet and spicy flavours with races of smokiness and honey and is garnished with lemon peel. The tones of this timepiece perfectly match the ingredients in this delicious drink. A graduated brown dial is set at the centre of a 40.5mm stainless steel case. The case features an exhibition case back, allowing the wearer to enjoy the look of the automatic movement that powers their watch. This model is secured on the wrist using a brown leather strap.
Seiko Presage ‘Acacia’ Cocktail Time GMT (40.5mm) Cream Dial / Brown Leather Strap SSK041J1
The colour palette of the ‘Acacia’ is inspired by its namesake cocktail from Star Bar, Japan. The drink is sweet and refreshing, mixed with gin, Benedictine and a dash of Kirsch. It is typically finished with a garnish of lemon. The honey-yellow cream-toned dial is detailed with silver features and framed by a stainless steel case. The watch and its GMT function are powered by an in-house calibre 4R34 automatic movement that provides up to 41 hours of power reserve. This model is finished with a brown leather strap. In addition, the watch is water resistant up to 5 bar making it suited to everyday wear.
