The All-New Maurice Lacroix Aikon PVD Watches
Case and Dial
Maurice Lacroix is pleased to release two new variants, each coated in PVD and dressed in a suit of stylish, glossy hues. One version, measuring 39mm in diameter is presented in Midnight Blue. While the other is housed in a 42mm case, executed in Gunmetal Grey. Both timepieces feature a colour-coordinated fumé dial that exhibits a Clous de Paris motif. The dial is a lighter tone towards the centre and assumes a darker shade near the outer edge of the display. White Super-LumiNova covers the hands and indices of each model. This allows for time to be seen with optimal visibility; even in low-light conditions. Similar to their Aikon siblings, the bezels of these models adopt a ‘six claw’ design. It captures the ‘urban style’ that the collection is so widely known for.
In addition, the exhibition case back blends form and function. Not only does it protect the watch’s components but also spotlights the art and craftsmanship that has gone into the watch’s design. The Aikon PVD succinctly imparts the essentials of time; hours, minutes and seconds. So it is an ideal choice for those wearers who appreciate simplicity.
Movement and Finishing Touches
Each Aikon PVD watch from this new release is fit with an automatic ML 115 calibre; this can be enjoyed through the exhibition case back. The movement provides a power reserve of up to 38 hours, so these watches are great for day-to-day wear. To showcase Swiss quality, the case back is embellished with perlage and colimaçon. Both watches are presented on a matching M-branded rubber strap and are equipped with the Maurice Lacroix Easy Strap Exchange system. This allows you to switch one strap for another, without the need for tools.
With their great levels of precision and urban style, we believe these Aikon PVD watches will be a huge hit.
