Today, Garmin surprises fans with MARQ Carbon Editions. The MARQ collection is Garmin’s luxury smart sports watch family, meant to bridge the gap between elegance and functionality. The three new models are tool watches like no other. They are built using new technology and materials to ensure they are the most impressive Garmin MARQs yet.
What are the Carbon Editions?
The three new models feature ultra-strong and lightweight cases. The cases are machined from a solid block of Fused Carbon Fiber. Built from 130 individual layers, the cases each have a totally unique pattern. These impressive materials mean that the watches are incredibly lightweight and comfortable, making them the perfect companion for any adventure. In addition, each model is equipped with Garmin’s iconic features including GPS, Garmin Pay and smartwatch capabilities amongst countless others. The MARQ Carbon Edition have a battery life of up to 16 days in smartwatch mode and 42 hours in GPS mode, so the wearer is never left unawares.
The New Models
Garmin has introduced this innovative carbon fiber design to three of its most popular MARQ models: the Commander, the Golfer and the Athlete. Each model is built to serve its specific purpose, although they do share core features and Garmin technologies.
Garmin MARQ Commander Carbon Edition 010-02722-01
This model is equipped with many tactical-specific features. It is designed to be worn in the field and is favoured by military personnel worldwide. These tactical features are unique to this timepiece, making it a specialist piece of equipment. The watch comes pre-installed with Applied Ballistic Ultralite ballistics calculator alongside Jumpmaster and Stealth Mode features. These features are invaluable in the field. The watch is also equipped with Waypoint Projection. This model is secured using an intricate jacquard-weave nylon strap.
Garmin MARQ Golfer Carbon Edition 010-02722-21
Designed for golfing enthusiasts, the MARQ Golfer Carbon Edition is preloaded with 43,000 golf courses. The watch is also equipped with advanced game-tracking data and an enhanced virtual caddie. The virtual caddie comes with a shot dispersion chart to provide recommendations of which club to use and where to aim. Another feature is Enhanced PlaysLIkeDistance which provides more accurate feedback. In addition, the Autoshot round analyser measures and auto records detected shot distances. This model is finished with a stain and sweat-resistant perforated FKM leather hybrid strap.
Garmin MARQ Athlete Carbon Edition 010-02722-11
The MARQ Athlete Carbon Edition is a new and improved version of the classic MARQ Athlete. The lightweight finish of the new carbon fiber case is sure to be noticed by athletes and has the potential to make their movement quicker and more efficient. The watch is built with an HRM-Pro Plus heart rate strap for accurate heart rate data and running dynamics. It also includes built-in sports apps and preloaded TopoActive maps. The watch will track training load, endurance and stamina using a multitude of incredibly accurate sensors. Multiband GPS with SatIQ Technology provides superior positioning accuracy to the wearer. The design of this model is completed with a high-performance rubber strap.
