Yesterday, Polar launched the brand new Polar Vantage V3. The brand claims that this new smart sports watch has the most comprehensive suite of training and recovery tools on the market. This new launch will thrill fans of the brand as Polar are consistently improving and redesigning its iconic watches to ensure it always delivers the best possible product. What’s New?
Polar has a reputation for continuous improvement and the brand-new Polar Vantage V3 is no exception. These new timepieces are equipped with Polar Elixir Biosensing Technology which can analyse and translate more biomarkers than anything that came before it. This comes in addition to an SpO2 sensor which can provide the truest oxygen heart rate measurement ever. The new watches also have skin temperature sensors and can provide an ECG reading in seconds. The brand’s watches are great guides on rest and recovery time as well as workouts. They feature orthostatic tests that will help determine a healthy balance between training and recovery.
The Vantage V3 has notable improvements from previous generations of the watch. This includes 35% more visibility compared to the V2. The AMOLED display ensures clarity and visibility and features an in-built flashlight. The wearer is able to customise the dashboard and widgets to suit their personal needs. The battery has also been improved. It now has a 41% bigger capacity compared to the Vantage V2. This provides up to 53 hours of battery life in GPS and OHR modes and up to 8 days in standard mode.
These watches are also equipped with tightly accurate Dual Frequency GPS technology. This allows for downloadable maps and turn-by-turn guidance, meaning that the wearer will always be able to find their way no matter where they are. These features come alongside smart coaching, sleep tracking and all of the iconic Polar technologies and features that are loved by fans of the brand.
The New Models
The Polar Vantage V3 is currently available in three designs. The first features a silver case and a blue silicone strap (900108892). The second design is all black with a black case and black silicone strap (900108890). The final design is perhaps the boldest with a silver case and white silicone strap with an orange lining (900108893). Each model has an aluminium case that measures 47mm in diameter and 14.5mm in depth. The case features Gorilla glass and an aerospace aluminium bezel ensuring durability and lightweight wear.
