Both new models encompass the theme of a ‘tropical lagoon’ and its colourful inhabitants. This concept makes these watches the perfect choice for any diving, underwater and nature enthusiasts. These timepieces are designed for robust resilience, even when out to the test during extreme adventures. they are equally suited to recreational diving as they are a day at the office. The All-New Seiko ‘Tropical Lagoon’ Special Edition Watches
Seiko Prospex ‘Tropical Lagoon’ Special Edition Turtle SRPJ35K1
This model uses the distinctive ‘Turtle’ style. This shape was named by Seiko fans due to its curved, comfortable shell shape. This model exhibits a black dial that is adorned with luminous dot indices alongside silver hour and second hands. The minute hand of this watch is green, ensuring it is easy to follow on its journey around the dial. Hardlex crystal protects the dial and a green and blue bezel surrounds it, adding a pop of colour to this classic timepiece.
The calibre 4R36 automatic movement that powers this watch is housed in a stainless steel case. The case measures 45mm in diameter and 13.42mm in depth to create a comfortable fit on the wrist. This timepiece is finished with a timeless stainless steel bracelet that is secured using a three-fold clasp and secure lock. In addition, the watch is water resistant up to 20 bar, making it a great choice to wear in the water.
Seiko Prospex ‘Tropical Lagoon’ Special Edition Hybrid Diver’s SNJ039P1
Designed in the iconic ‘Tuna’ style, the case shape of this model resembles a tuna can. The black dial features a small digital display in the 12 o’clock position, providing the wearer with any information they may require. Luminous dot indices and luminous hands also feature on the dial. The minute hand is green, ensuring it stands apart from the silver hour and second hands. A green and blue bezel frames the dial and Hardlex crystal protects it.
The case of the watch is made from a combination of stainless steel and black plastic to create a bold look on the wrist. This case measures 47.8mm in diameter and 13.8mm in depth to ensure the dial can be read at a glance. This case houses the hybrid solar automatic calibre H8851 movement that powers the watch. Impressively, this movement is accurate to +/- 15 seconds per month. The watch is secured on the wrist using a blue silicone strap and is water resistant up to 20 bar.
These watches are now available for pre-order for delivery in January 2023.
