Just in time for summer, luxury Swiss brand Longines has introduced 10 new colourful models to their line-up. In an unusual move for the typically tamer high-end brand, Longines’ new releases have stunned fans and critics alike with their bold and vibrant colour schemes. The new models are part of the brand’s iconic “DolceVita” and “La Grande Classique de Longines” collections. Each collection features a new model in one of the following 5 colours: carmine red, spring green, cobalt blue, burnt orange and a classic black.
Truly embodying the motto of “Elegance is an attitude”, Longines’ new releases stand out in their full vibrant monochromatic glory. The colours of the watches are both bold and playful. The New Dolce Vita Watches
Since they were released in 1997, DolceVita watches have represented modern elegance. The design of the line has remained unique and feminine with a touch of mediteranian charm. These 5 new enchanting models beautifully complement the philosophy of the collection. Though with a new aesthetic, the DolceVita watches are still endevoring to encapsulate “the sweetness of life”.
The new models feature a rectangular dial with rounded lugs. It measures 23.3 mm in width and 37mm in lenght. The polished laquered dial of the watches is in one of the five new colours. The dials themselves are minimalistic with no indices or minute scale. Only the Longines logo, a small second subdial and silver-toned hands contrast the dial. The watches are secured by a leather strap in a matching colour to the dial. This creates a stunning monochrome design which truly showcases your personality. Additionally, the models have a quartz movement. All watches are splash resistant so they should not be submerged in water.
The New La Grande Classique de Longines
The La Grande Classique de Longines collection is one of the brand’s most popular lines. Known for its timeless silhouettes and stylish designs, the La Grande Classique de Longines line is a must-have for any Longines’ collector. The new models stun not only with their one of a kind colours.
The watches showcase the famous outstanding Longines craftsmanship through their 4.5mm thinness. The watch case is stainless steel and measures 29 mm in diaemeter. Additionally, the thin bezel of the timepieces is set with 44 Top Wesselton diamonds for an even more striking look. Similarly to the watches from the DolceVita line, the dials and leather straps of the watches match. The dials of these watches are also bare with a distinct modern minimalist look. Standing out against them are only the silver-toned thin baton hour and minute hands and the Longines flying hourglass logo. The watch is powered by a quartz movement and is splash-resistant.
With their new releases, Longines has given anyone the oportunity to embrace their confidence and inner elegance.
