The New Watches
Sinn’s latest launch features four elegant and sporty watches that each have a colourful, gemstone themed dial. Each of the four timepieces is limited to just 400 pieces, making them very collectable items. The collection takes inspiration from gemstones as they are naturally glittering symbols of permanence and perfection, making these tones a beautifully timeless choice for a long-lasting watch. The fresh and contemporary look of these bright tones combined with Sinn’s trademark design creates a new and innovative look.
The Dial
The colour of the dial of each watch is inspired by a beautiful gemstone. The watches are available in carnelian red (556.0116), citrine yellow (556.0114), emerald green (556.0113), and aquamarine blue (556.0115). The dials are all finished using varnish with a metallic shimmer. This gives the watches a subtle glittering effect. The dial of each model is protected by sapphire glass to provide a durable and scratch-resistant finish to each watch. Each dial is adorned with applique baton indices that have meticulously been attached by hand. The indices and hands are coated with a luminescent material that will allow them to be seen in the dark.
The Case and Movement
A stainless steel case surrounds the dial of each watch. This gives the timepieces a classic look that makes them suitable for every occasion, whether it be the office or a formal occasion. The case of each model features an exhibition case back. This case back is made from sapphire glass, ensuring durability. This feature allows the movement of the watch to be observed and enjoyed by the wearer. The all-new Sinn 556 watches are all powered by an SW 200-1 self-winding movement. The movement is incredibly reliable and is anti-magnetic, meaning that it is very precise.
The Strap and Finishing Touches
Each of these watches is secured on the wrist using a grey canvas leather strap. This neutral colour truly allows the bold colours of the dials to take centre stage. The strap is fastened using a folding clasp. The four watches are all water and pressure-resistant up to 200 metres, or 20 bar. This means that they can be worn for almost all water-based activities. The watches are also resistant to low pressure, making them a very versatile accessory. To enhance this level of water resistance, each timepiece is equipped with a screwed crown.
