Oris have launched all new Oris Aquis Date watches in time for the brighter summer months. The Oris Aquis date is an iconic model in the brand’s portfolio and is favoured by many fans of the brand. The watch is easy to style for the office or the beach due to its various desirable functions. The new models differ from previous ones as Oris have introduced a new smaller case size to make the watches a more universal size and therefore more wearable for more collectors.
The Oris Aquis models have always been popular due to their impressively thin watch case. It takes great watchmaking expertise to create a slim case for an automatic watch, especially diving watches. The slimline design paired with the new smaller size makes the all new Oris Aquis Date watches easy to wear for any occasion. The three new smaller models are available in three vibrant colours which will be excellent for styling throughout the summer.
The All New Oris Aquis Date Watches
The new models are each powered by an Oris 400 automatic movement. This movement uses 28’000 A/h and 21 jewels to power the watches, providing them with a 120-hour power reserve. The movement operates the instantaneous date function, date corrector, fine timing device and stop second function. It is highly antimagnetic as both the escape wheel and anchor are silicone.
Each of the watches has a multipiece stainless steel case that houses the movement. This case is in a brand-new size, measuring 41.5mm in diameter. Each watch features an exhibition case back that allows the wearer to observe and enjoy the powerful automatic movement within. The watches are all water resistant up to 300 metres (30 bar), which is aided by the screw in crowns. This high level of water resistance allows the wearer to do almost any water-based activity whilst wearing the watch, making it perhaps one of the most versatile watches on the market.
