In celebration of the brand’s 20th anniversary, MeisterSinger have launched the MeisterSinger Perigraph in Mellow Yellow. This is a new design of the classic Perigraph that has been created to celebrate the brand’s 20th anniversary in style. MeisterSinger’s Perigraph watch is the master of diversity and exhibits this new bold design with timeless elegance. The watch maintains all of the core features of the Perigraph watch with the addition of a contemporary colour twist.
The classic Perigraph watch won the Red Dot Design Award. This accolade confirms the accuracy and originality of the design. Only 200 Mellow Yellow Perigraph models have been produced making this an extremely desirable and collectable watch.
The Dial
The Perigraph watch is made unique by its open date disc. The new Mellow Yellow model accentuates this feature by contrasting a yellow date disc with a steel blue dial. The correct date aligns with the small red arrow that sits below 12 o’clock on the dial. The dial also exhibits a yellow outer minute track, providing additional contrast and decoration to the watch.
This model features MeisterSinger’s classic single hand dial with 5-minute time increment indices. This adheres to the brand’s philosophy of experiencing the passage of time rather than keeping track of every second that passes. The single hand points to one fleeting moment of time. The hand on this watch is silver and has a red tip to ensure that the dial is easy to read at a glance. The dial is protected by scratch resistant sapphire glass.
The Movement
The MeisterSinger Perigraph in Mellow Yellow is powered by a Sellita SW220 automatic movement. It uses 25 jewels and 28,800 semioscillations to power the watch. This movement gives the watch a generous 38-hour power reserve. The watch will gain power through the natural movement of the wearer’s wrist, so they will not need to worry about battery changes.
The Design
A stainless steel case houses the movement and frames the dial. The case measures 43mm in diameter and 11.5mm in height. This case size ensures that the watch will sit comfortably on the wrist and the dial remains easily readable. The watch features an exhibition case back to allow the wearer to observe and enjoy the automatic movement within. The case back is secured with 6 screws.
This watch is water resistant up to 50 metres (5 bar). This water resistance rating means that the watch is suitable for some contact with water, making it suitable for daily wear. The watch is secured to the wrist using a bold yellow leather strap that fastens with a pin buckle. The shade of yellow used for the strap perfectly complements that used on the dial for an eye-catching and cohesive look.
