Maurice Lacroix has introduced a new addition to their Aikon collection during Watches & Wonders Geneva. The fair has been an annual horological event since it was first started in 1991. Alongside Baselworld, Watches & Wonders is considered one of the most prestigious trade shows for watches and jewellery in the world. This year Maurice Lacroix seized the opportunity and announced five new models which are being added to their portfolio throughout the year. Luxurious and elegant, the Aikon Venturer White Amazon takes Maurice Lacroix’s sportier Venturer line in a new direction.
Though the Aikon Venturer White Amazon watch has retained the urban silhouette which distinguishes the Aikon collection from the rest of Maurice Lacroix’s watches, it brings a palpable lightness and femininity to the line.

A more feminine reinterpretation of the original 43 mm Venturer, this new model is designed to stand boldly in the face of any challenge. Though its style and colour-pallette stray from the established formula of the collection, it does so without compromising the brand’s philosophy or the aesthetic of the Aikon line.
Created to accompany the modern-day adventurous woman throughout her everyday life the watch has retained its durable construction. Maurice Lacroix does not compromise when it comes to the quality of its products. The brand uses only the highest quality materials to ensure long-lasting and comfortable wear.
The watch’s case is made of stainless steel and measures 38 mm in diameter. The case has a brushed finish. The bezel is white. Its distinctive markers, placed every 10 minutes, also have a brushed finish. Complementing the bezel is the silvery-white sunray dial. Highlighting the luxurious design of the model are 8 diamonds, set into the dial to represent indices. The hour-markers at the 12, 6 and 9 o’clock position are luminescent. The larger luminescent hands tie in the dial’s design with the sportier overall design of the timepiece. A date window has been placed at the 3 o’clock position. Securing the watch is a brushed stainless steel bracelet with a butterfly closure. The watch comes with an additional white silicone strap. Both the bracelet and strap feature an easy exchange function making the model that much more versatile.
The movement on the watch is automatic with a calibre ML 115. The movement has a power reserve of up to 38-hours, 26 jewels and a frequency of 28,800 BPH. The watch also has an impressive water resistance of up to 30 bars or 300 meters.
