The Promotional Video
The brand created a stunning promotional video for the 25th Anniversary launch, starring Swiss dance duo Dakota & Nadia. The video perfectly captures the modernity and style of the watches with the contemporary dancing and brightly coloured smoke. The movements of the dancers reflect the fluidity and versatility of the two new Eliros watches.
The 25th Anniversary Edition Eliros Watches
The 25th Anniversary Edition Eliros comes with either a blue or white lacquered dial. The white dial features blue hands, and the blue dial features white hands. Maurice Lacroix have included this detail to ensure for excellent visibility and readability of the dial. For the first time in the design of their watches, the brand has used a blend of long baton indices and elongated Arabic numbers. These indices are in alternating colours to give the watch a modern look.
Both dial colours come with two straps for optimal versatility. The wearer will have the option of either a blue calf leather strap or a stainless-steel 9-row Milanese bracelet depending on their outfit or mood. Maurice Lacroix have built this watch for everyday wear, and this is emphasised by the easy strap exchange and water-resistance to 50m (5 bar). This level of water-resistance will mean that the watches can withstand the splashes and showers that it may encounter during day-to-day wear.
The watches are powered by quartz movements to ensure they are precise and reliable. The movements are protected by a slim stainless-steel case, measuring 40mm in diameter and 8mm in height. Maurice Lacroix have featured a date aperture at the 3 o’clock point on the dial for optimal timekeeping. The brand have given the 25th Anniversary Edition Eliros watches all of the protection and utilities they will need to be able to withstand daily life, but it must not be forgotten that these timepieces are special editions. Maurice Lacroix acknowledges this fact by engraving the case back of each of the watches with the phrase ‘25th Anniversary Edition’. This reminds the wearer that they are sporting a piece of the brand’s history and they can wear their special edition watch with pride.
