Design Of The Polar Vantage V2
The watch is made of lightweight premium materials. Tested against military standards, the case is made of aerospace aluminium alloy with glass fibre reinforced polymer. The always-on colour display is touch sensitive. Ensuring ultimate readability in any conditions, the laminated gorilla glass lens is coated with an anti-fingerprint layer. An integrated silicone wristband, which is available in several colours, secures the watch onto the wrist. The case of the watch measures 47 mm in diameter. Subtle push buttons on the side of the case help maintain the model’s contemporary silhouette. The watch is water-resistant up to 10 bars or 100 metres allowing you to track any and all sports activities.
The overall design of the watch is sleek and sporty. It’s versatile style makes it perfect to be worn during the day and at the end of the day it allows you to switch into your exercise routine without wasting any time.
Functions And Apps
Through the Polar Vantage V2’s top-of-the line recovery and performance tracking you can achieve ultimate balance and ultimate results. Working harder won’t always give you the results you need. Recovery is important in order to not overwork your body and will ultimately accomplish your goals quicker. Equipped with running and cycling performance, the watch stores data on how well you’re doing in each training session. The model also features performance tests and allows you to track your progress throughout the training period with tests at regular intervals. Training Load Pro alongside the Nightly Recharge, Recovery Pro and the Leg Recovery test shows you how much you’ve exerted yourself, when your body needs more rest and if you can push yourself harder. Alongside these the watch can also connect and store data in Polar Flow, tracks a range of activities and offers preloaded exercise plans through the FitSpark training guide.
When it comes to taking care of your overall health, the watch tracks your sleeping pattern, your daily energy and heart rate. To help you take care of your mental health, the Vantage V2 has a breathing exercises application. Navigation applications on the watch include GPS, GLONASS, Galileo and QZSS, turn-by-turn navigation through Komoot. It also comes with a compass and a barometer.
The watch’s battery can last up to 40 hours in training mode or up to 7 days with only heart rate monitoring. Multiple power save options are also available.
