Back in the 1970’s Hamilton changed the way the world told time with the release of the Hamilton Pulsar. The groundbreaking technology of the Hamilton Pulsar disrupted the watch market. The unique style captured the attention of forward thinkers of that time, including Elton John, Joe Frazier and Keith Richards. The futuristic design was a pinnacle of the popular space-age era.
Fifty years later, in celebration of the release of the game changing Hamilton Pulsar, the brand have introduced a new model, the Hamilton PSR.
The Hamilton PSR was crafted as a timely reminder of the start of the digital world as well as digital timekeeping. In the same way the Pulsar was popular for its futuristic and statement design, the PSR achieves the epitome of cool.
There are two models available which come in silver or gold stainless steel and they will be placed in Hamilton’s American Classic collection. First impressions of the design are in-keeping with a futuristic form, equip with a hybrid display and bold composition.
The silver model is the standard in this release and the gold is limited edition with only 1970 available! This digital masterpiece is powered by digital quartz protected in a stainless steel case, the gold model comes with yellow gold PVD plating. The hybrid display is protected by scratch resistant sapphire glass and an anti-reflective display. Both of these models are water resistant up to 10 bar (100 metres). The stainless steel strap is finished with a folding clasp for optimal comfort among style.
The design whilst futuristic, touches on a retro style which is owed to the original Hamilton Pulsar. These models are a must have for any watch collector or Hamilton fan alike!
