This has been created as a single model to unite tradition and functionality. A watch that has been based on the 1951 classic chronograph, which enabled meticulous measuring of time using it’s stop function. This historic inspiration is paired with modern technology, including a tachymeter and telemeter scale, that at a glance show speed and distance.
This model is not only inspired by the love of motor racing, but also by Junghans involvement in the sport. With the new Meister Telemeter, Junghans were announced as the Official Timekeeper of the 47th AvD-Oldtimer-Grand-Prix 2019! From the 9th to the 11th of August at the world famous Nürburgring, the event took place, where drivers tackled the longest circuit in the world!
The competition was raced by legends from motoring History, who battled it out in multiple thrilling duels! Using every last bit of power from their classic racing machines, each lap meant an improved time, thanks to the accuracy of the Telemeter. Not only was the watch timekeeping, but it was also a prize too! As certain winners were awarded a model at the podium ceremony!
