A New 50 Hour Power Reserve Frederique Constant Slimline Manufacture Range
Available in four different variations, the Luxury Swiss watchmakers have announced the brand new Frederique Constant Slimline Manufacture 50-Hour Power Reserve range at Baselworld 2019, created to provide a watch that retains power to run properly and keep the right time. Adding to the Frederique Constant Slimline Manufacture collection with their 28th in-house caliber is a proud moment for the brand, and with this fantastic new 50-hours power reserve function in-house movement it is clear to see why they are so proud. The watch displays it’s power reserve at the 10 o’clock position, as well as featuring a date display at 6, to go along with the standard hours and minutes set-up. This brand new movement, the 28th in-house movement, has been built on the renowned FC-70 movement, which has then been modified to include the power reserve function too, which provides us with the all new FC-723 Manufacture automatic caliber.
As previously mentioned there are four different variants in the range, which all arrive with 40mm stainless steel cases, except one which has been rose gold plated, and has the same case size as the rest. The rose gold model comes with a white dial, and brown alligator strap, and the other models are available with blue, white or dark grey dials with appropriately coloured alligator straps. These leather straps arrive with a deployment clasp, and the dials of the watches feature roman numerals and sun-ray decoration, along with the features described previously!
The result of Frederique Constant’s extensive research and development for this piece has provided us with a fantastic new watch with a very classic style, with a touch of asymmetry provided by the power reserve indicator, and is arguably the best quality for price power reserve function timepiece available on the Swiss made watch market, which is a huge positive!
True to its roots and values created by its founders, Peter and Aletta Stas, Frederique Constants is always pushing the boundaries to the limit in order to produce some of the finest mechanical and complicated timepieces at the most competitive prices propelling the Brand into a future of opportunities, a new era of exploring new technical innovations while upholding the Swiss excellence of watchmaking.
