Alpina have launched a brand new range of smoked dials for its Startimer Pilot and Alpiner collections!
A brand new look for an Alpina watch. The new Shadow line featuring smoked dials and dark looks.
The new shadow line has revealed six new Alpina watch models, including five from the Startimer Pilot collection, two of which are big date quartz chronographs, and three are automatics. With an automatic Alpiner 4 making up the six, all are equipped with an exclusively developed Alpina connected e-strap.
As per the Alpina style, the new line of smoked dials combines urban elegance and sporty technicity, reinterpreting its best selling lines!
The Alpiner 4 Automatic
The Alpiner 4 is an iconic Alpina watch. One of the most emblematic Swiss sports watches. The Alpiner 4 fantastically combines beautiful aesthetics while offering top quality performance and accuracy to alpine and nature enthusiasts under the most extreme conditions.
This brand new Alpina watch has been introduced with a new black PVD coated stainless steel case, along with the famous red triangle adorning the seconds hand, adding a fantastic dynamic feel to the piece. Also, this is featured on the 12 o’clock mark on the bi-directional rotating bezel. While the Alpina 1883 logo is fantastically engraved on the 44mm back case of the watch. The date display window is situated at the 3 o’clock position and the luminova-treated indexes are delicately placed over the sunray-finished dial. The AL-525 automatic caliber movement offers a 38-hour power-reserve, and the stainless-steel case allows for a 10 ATM (100m) water-resistance as well as the other three main features of the Concept 4 anti-magnetic, anti-shock, and stainless steel.
The Startimer Pilot
The Startimer Pilot Automatic collection offers inspiration for the shadow lone edition timepieces, allowing them to maintain all the desired pilot features as well as excellence and qualitative finishing details with an added twist.
A wonderful example of the above is the rose gold plated stainless steel 44mm case contrasting with a dark grey sunray finishing dial. This displays the typical oversized luminous hand-applied rose gold-plated indexes and hands with a date window at the 3 o’clock position. This new watch features a smokey dark genuine leather e-strap as well as an engraved case back. Another model from this collection is also available in black PVD-coated stainless steel with either a dark blue or a dark grey dial, which displays matte finishing and applied pearl black indexes and date window at 3 o’clock.
The same models are available with the quartz Chronograph function and bearing the same mat urban sporty look.
