Rotary join forces with The Royal British Legion for WWI Centenary Watch.
The Rotary Limited Edition WWI Centenary Watch is a fantastic commemorative piece for the centenary of the end of the First World War in 1918, with only 1918 pieces available.
This brand new, limited edition watch from Rotary is created in collaboration with the Royal British Legion. With a portion of the proceeds being donated to the fantastic Royal British Legion – at least £12.50 ex VAT. This donation goes towards supporting the great work that the charity does, which includes: providing financial, social, and emotional support to the members and veterans to the British Armed Forces, their families and dependents.
The 36mm stainless steel case showcases subtle detailing with the 11th hour and the 11th day being coloured red. There is also a poppy situated at 12 o’clock and a poppy located on the crown. These are then shielded by scratch resistant sapphire glass.
Each model is inscribed with a touching thank you message on the case back and is individually numbered, up to 1918. Unfortunately watches cannot be specifically chosen prior to order, unless we have multiple of this item in stock, in which case email us at info@firstclasswatches.co.uk and we will be able to advise which numbers we have in stock.
“Rotary is extremely proud to unite with this very iconic charity The Royal British Legion to commemorate the end of the First World War. This partnership is especially fitting given Rotary’s historic connection to both the British Army and the development of wrist watches as a popular accessory,” a statement from the company says.
This is a fantastic tribute to those who fought, and those who were affected by The First World War, and is a great way to go above and beyond to show your support, with a portion of the profits going to supporting charity. The subtle yet striking characteristics of this watch make it a fantastic looking timepiece, but also allows it to act as a continuous reminder, or memory.
