Oris TT1 – Power Comes To The Fore
The Oris TT1 Engine Date, like a high performance Formula 1 car, is a work of art. An expertly sculpted, three dimensional, luxury watch. Its multi layered dial opens up and shows off the inner workings of the watch’s Swiss mechanical movement, providing the timepiece with high tolerances, and extreme accuracy. The look given by this personifies the power, speed and performance of a Williams Formula 1 car.
Oris have been working with Williams F1 for some time, and we have seen a great deal of different limited edition, and special edition watches produced. From the Williams FW41 Limited Edition to the Williams TT1 Day Date we have seen many fantastic watches come from this partnership, which doesn’t seem to be ending any time soon. Great news for watch fans!
The Oris TT1 Engine Date comes in two variations, as is often the case with Oris watches, with both a stainless steel and a rubber strap version available.
The steel bracelet version goes by the product code – 01 733 7752 4124-07 8 24 08 and is currently retailing at £1,550. You can take a look at this model here.
The TT1 is also available with Oris’ classic black rubber strap – 01 733 7752 4124-07 4 24 06FC, which has become a favorite among watch aficionados, and currently retails at £1,450. You can take a look at this model here.
This model features the Oris 733, base SW 200-1 which features a 38 hour power reserve, in order to power the hands and the fantastically designed open wheel date function. This is Oris’ most reliable and accurate movements, as is expected from the luxury Swiss watch makers, and is guaranteed to keep your watch going and keeping you on time.
The design of this watch is one of our favorites, the sporty feel given to it through the Formula 1 inspirations make it a modern and active design, whilst the Swiss luxury feel is completely retained with the detailed skeleton dial and the smooth flowing case design. This is defiantly a watch you should be interested in if you are a fan of Motorsport and Formula 1, but the fantastic thing about this watch is that you don’t have to be a fan of F1 to be a fan of the watch. The watch isn’t plastered with brand logo’s or endorsements, something that Oris are very good at doing on all of their watches, and still gives you a great looking watch that could be worn and thoroughly enjoyed by anyone!
