Changing Men’s Lives For The Better
Oris have once again joined forces with Movember in order to bring positive change to men’s lives, unveiling the NEW 2018 Oris Movember Limited Edition watch
Last year, Oris announced their support, and partnership with Men’s health charity, The Movember Foundation, releasing a limited edition Oris Movember watch at the same time as raising money for the fantastic cause. You can read all about last years release here.
This year, we are seeing the two brands team up once again, but this time, the goals are bigger, and the aim is to do even better. Oris have set themselves the huge target of raising CHF 100,000, roughly £77,000 for The Movember Foundation.
The Oris Movember Crew gathered in central London on October 10th to launch Oris’s latest Movember campaign. Dr Johannes Wimmer, Miguel Gutierrez and Scott Poynton were joined by Oris Chairman Ulrich W. Herzog for a panel discussion on men’s health.
The state of men’s health is in crisis. As you read this, 5.6 million men are living with or beyond prostate cancer. Testicular cancer continues to claim young lives with 500,000 men taking their own lives a year. One a Minute. On average, men die a huge six years earlier than women. Too many men are dying too young. It must be stopped.
In 2018, Oris has once again partnered with the fantastic Movember Foundation, who are the worlds leading men’s health charity. This is in order to raise awareness of these important issues, and to raise the funds needed to fight back, and support the charity and the projects, needing funding. Through the Oris Movember Crew and through sales of the new Oris Movember Edition, Oris has set a goal of raising CHF 100,000 (roughly £77,000) for the charity this November.

How To Get Involved
1. Grow a Mo
If you can grow a Mo during Movember, do it with your local Oris Movember Crew. Oris will be hosting events around the world to celebrate Movember. You can join them and find out more at Movember.com.
2. Walk and Talk
Join Movember ambassador Scott Poynton for a Walk and Talk – no matter how long – on a Thursday during Movember (or any day!). You can even organise your own.
3. Shave-Down
Oris will be hosting shave-downs all over the world. But if you’re a barber and you’d like to join the Oris Movember Crew, or you know one who would, we’d love to hear from you
