U Boat Watches Find New Partnership in The Form of Italian Supercar Brand ATS
Italo Fontana and the U-Boat brand constantly search for new and unique ways to create the most special watches possible, guaranteed by the finest italian craftsmanship. Partnerships are always a fantastic way of doing this, and U Boat Watches look to find brands who share the same visions and values as themselves to produce a strong beneficial relationship, with a genuine result.
Italo Fontana has always been passionate about Italian supercars, and has now finally found the perfect partner for the U Boat Watches brand, ATS. A rejuvenated automotive company, who like U-Boat have a historic begging, back in 1963 when they released their first mid-engine design.
The latest iteration of the ATS GT car actually features one of the digital U Boat Watches in the dashboard or the advanced cockpit. This car is limited to only twelve pieces. The U-Boat watch is the perfect match for this supercar, with its strong hearted Italian beauty, and its sleek luxury looks. The ATS GT was released on the 23rd August at the pebble beach car week in California.
“A refined but strong-hearted Italian beauty, ready to capture hearts and heads.”
The ‘Italian way of doing things‘ is the spirit behind the ATS GT, which is said to cost around £1Million, and boast around 700BHP. Its top speed is believed to be more than 206mph, while 0-60mph takes 3.0secs and 0-120mph is accomplished in a mere 9.9secs.
A beautiful modern design encapsulates the Italian beauty, with flowing curves and enticing design and high tech control, following on from years of research. These are features that can always be found in the work of Italo Fontana. Each U-Boat watch undergoes extensive research and testing until the perfect outcome is achieved.
Not only will the digital U-Boat watch feature prominently in the centre of the GT’s dashboard, but the Italian watch makers will also be launching a limited edition Chimera Titanio Skeleton, of which only 50 will be produced. This watch will feature the ATS logo on the dial to symbolise the partnership. Still in development is a further watch to feature inside the interior of the car, which will be removable to be worn on the wrist when desired, features we would expect from a million pound car!
