Casio announce a Rangeman Team Land Cruiser Toyota Auto body collaboration
The Casio Rangeman Team Land Cruiser Toyota Auto Body collaboration comes after the huge success of the Rangeman alone. The GPR-B1000TLC-1 features a brand new colour design to include the blue of Team Land Cruiser, and also has a unique case back to mark the collab!
Team Land Cruiser Toyota Auto Body
Team Land Cruiser is the team set up by Toyota Auto Body of the Toyota Manufacturing Group, famous for its car production, with iconic models such as the Supra, the corolla and many more. It has been participating with Land Cruiser in the Dakar Rally, the world’s most demanding race, since 1995.
Rangeman Features
This new Rangeman model is the result of a collaboration between Casio and Team Land Cruiser Toyota Auto Body, who are a regular competitor in the famous Dakar Rally, and event known for being the world’s most demanding race. This collaboration is bringing us two brand new watches, the Triple Sensor Rangeman Team Land Cruiser, and the G-Shock, Master of G Series timepiece which has been designed to stand up to the harsh conditions on the land, and throughout the Dakar Rally.
The base model is the GPR-B1000, which boasts a whole host of impressive features, such as GPS navigation and a solar charging system sat inside a body that is crafted to resist shock, mud, dust, extreme temperature and water. The new iteration of this model features a blue rubber band with red accenting to portray the brand colours, which can be seen on the cars too. Read all about the original Rangeman here.
The rubber strap also features the team logo on the 6 o’clock side, which adds a fantastic bit of detail for collectors and fans alike. The GPS features and a digital compass combine to give you a route to your destinations, at the same time as tracking your routes, storing waypoint info, and the solar functionality keeps the whole system running.
