Tom Clancy’s Jack Ryan
The first iteration of Jack Ryan’s story came in the form of 1984 novel, The Hunt For Red October, and has now reached the small screen streaming industry, with the Amazon Prime Original series creating a modern reinvention of the Jack Ryan story.
Ryan is a former U.S. Marine, working as at the U.S. Naval Academy as a history teacher, before becoming an analyst for the CIA. The action is focused on Jack as an up and coming CIA analyst who gets thrown in at the deep end with a dangerous field assignment, when he uncovers a pattern in terrorist communication. The series will be shown in eight, 1 hour episodes, with a second series already being approved and planned.
