This is often an overlooked feature when it comes to purchasing a watch.
A watch with a backlight has a variety of different advantages the main advantage being that we are able to tell the time in the dark. It could be when you are out and about or perhaps in the middle of the night when you check the time and this can be achieved at the touch of a button. Because the backlight is in your control it means that you can use it whenever you need or desire.

This watch from Mondaine is an official watch of the Swiss Railway which means that it’s design is based off the Swiss railway clock. It is a watch with a classic, almost vintage style to it. The main attraction of this watch it it’s backlight technology.
The idea behind the design was to prevent the glowing feature effect the design of the watch during the day, therefore the glow was placed on the back of the hands. The good thing about this timepiece is that it is versatile and unisex so both men and women can enjoy the unique features of this model.

This watch from Timex is also vintage is design with a classic edge, styling a silver case and black leather strap, protected by a window of mineral glass for durability. The backlight on this watch can be activated by pushing in the crown. This watch is very clear in design with large Arabic numbers on the dial.
