Rotary released today a list of the top five watches that they sell which would be perfect for a bride at her wedding, we thought we would take a deeper look at some of the watches and look at why they are so well suited to a bride on her special day. Rotary Havana Gold Plated Quartz Watch – LB05081/02
The Rotary Havana collection features timepieces for both men and women in a classic sleek, elementary design which has proven very popular ever since it was first introduced. The timepieces from this collection also feature sapphire glass for increased scratch resistance. This specific model retails at £169 however we currently sell it for a reduced price of £143.00
The watches case and bracelet are gold PVD plated stainless steel and the watch is powered by a battery powered quartz movement. The case is 31mm in width and 8.2mm thick making it a perfect size for a ladies wrist. The display is analog with gold stainless steel batons for hour markers that have been coated with a luminous paint to make them easily readable in poor lighting conditions. The hour, minute and seconds hands are Facetted Dauphine shaped and have been coated with a gold PVD plating however only the hour and minute hands have been coated in the luminous paint.
There is also a date display at the three o’clock position which adds a bit more to this watch making it more comprehensive. The clasp on this model is a deployment clasp which is secure when fastened and easy to unlock when needed. The watch is water resistant to 50 metres however it is not recommended to dive in this timepiece.
Rotary Ultra Slim White Stainless Steel Quartz Watch – LB08300/07
This dazzling timepiece if from the Rotary Ultra Slim collection and is a perfect addition to any brides special day. The thickness of this watch is just 5.7mm making it so lightweight she would almost forget she was wearing it if it wasn’t for the sparkling shine that it emits. This timepiece is both refined and classic, the movement of this watch is a reliable quartz battery housed in a 27mm polished silver stainless steel case.
The dial is a guilloche inner pattern on the middle and a mother of pearl on the outer part making this a two step dial which adds to the watches sophistication and class. The markers for the hours are stainless steel batons and the hour and minutes hands are stainless steel silver too which matches the style of the rest of the watch.This watch has a water resistance of 30 metres so we would recommend not spilling any champagne on it and keep it away from the pool on your honeymoon!
Rotary Rose Gold Cambridge Quartz Watch – LB05262/06
Next up is this stunning rose gold PVD plated Rotary watch from the Cambridge collection. This beautiful watch is the perfect addition to any brides wrist, its powered by a quartz battery and features a date display at the six o’clock position. The strap is manufactured from a 316L stainless steel that has also been PVD plated rose gold and the clasp is a deployment style with two pusher buttons.
The dial of the watch is a eye catching ivory colour which really emphasises the hour and minute markers around the dial which are black and rose gold in colour, protecting the delicate dial is the watches glass which is a mineral crystal and all of this is housed within a 32mm case. The watch is also water resistant to 50 metres so if the weather doesn’t favour you on your wedding day or you’re jetting off to somewhere by the sea for your honeymoon you can wear your watch and it will still be protected from any water. (Just don’t go diving in it)
