The DeLorean Motor Company, or DMC, created one of the most iconic sports cars of all time, in the DMC-12. A model that is known all throughout the world, and has a highly distinguishable shape and character. It was 1981 when the first DeLorean DMC-12 rolled off the production line, and only lasted for two years of production until 1983. However, thanks to the stunning design by Giorgetto Guigaro, the car was able to gain legendary status and a cult following in this short time. A stainless steel body, with no paint, gull-wing doors, this is a truly iconic, unique vehicle.
In the world of watches, we have seen the DMC Alpha collection, which had proved to be extremely popular. The Alpha is a watch that honors the iconic design elements that are still instantly recognizable today, from the famous car. From the horizontal lines on the dial, mirroring the grill of the Delorean, to the speedometer-like dial, and of course, the famous logo sitting prominent in the front and center of the watch.

The new collection brings a fresh take on the DMC dial, combining different elements taken from the design of the vintage car to create a fantastic looking watch, with modern appeal. Again, we have the horizontal lines across the dial, referencing the iconic grille of the DeLorean, but also features a separate seconds display in the style of speedometer at 6 o’clock.
