Swiss watch maker Tissot have been creating timepieces for over 160 years and are now know for their reliability and quality. With Swiss ETA movements in all of their watches, they are extremely accurate and sought after luxury watches, at an affordable price. Now part of the Swatch group, they are the highest selling member above the likes of Hamilton or Calvin Klein, and sell 4 million watches a year. Founded in Le Locle the brand was located in a town full of watch manufacturing companies that we still see today, and in 1853 they produced the first pocket watch with dual time, and the famous banana watch in 1916 which was re-released at Baselworld. Tissot are the producers of the first fully plastic watch, the fist watch made completely from rock and also the first wooden watch, which has led them to produce some of the most innovative and ground breaking designs, which they are still striving to do today.
