We’re off to Baselworld tomorrow and to say we are excited is an understatement! We’ve finished the last of our packing and all that is left is for Jamie to find his passport. With so many brands to see we’ve managed to completely fill every slot to see brands that we had in our schedule with brands such as Tissot, Citizen, Hamilton, Michel Herbelin, Maurice Lacroix and Rado. In addition to this we received the great news this morning from WatchPro that the Pickwick is open despite previous false news claims that it was going to be closed.
The official show starts on 22nd March and closes on the 27th and show sponsor Tag Heuer are excited to unveil the cloak covering the ticket barriers at the entrance to the show. I can see why with so many novelties already announced for release from Tag Heuer such as the Aquaracer Lady automatic watch which is available in two colours and the Carrera collection is celebrating its 55th anniversary with two new sporty and stylish versions too!
Once the curtain has been lowered the show will begin and patrons from all over the globe will be free to walk the elegant halls of Baselworld for the next four days exploring new brands, new watch releases and new technology! There’s even going to be for the first time ever Baselworlds’ own virtual assistant placed at locations around Baselworld to help people find what they need. We will be keeping an eye out for it and if we see it we will let you know on our social media.
Most brands which are attending and have given us a little insight to what they are releasing we have done a post about and you can read them on our blog along with previous years Baselworld posts.
