The Antares Interchangeable watch from Michel Herbelin was such a good idea that when the creators thought up this new inspirational design they knew it was necessary to patent it straight away. It has a clever click and lock system which allows the strap to be changed in seconds with no need for a tool at all. The brand now stocks over 30 different straps that you can choose from to make your watch completely bespoke and unique to your taste or interest.
This new interchangeable strap technology allows you to take your watch to any occasion and simply change the strap to alter its style, so whether its drinks out with the girls, a sophisticated business dinner or taking the kids shopping you can style your watch to it all. It doesn’t even stop there, as the seasons change you can relax in the knowledge that you are able to change your watch to suit your changing wardrobe. For those who prefer a bracelet, non-interchangeable Antares bracelet watches are also available in stainless steel, gold plated and two tone finishes.
Coming this year Michel Herbelin has announced that they are going to be adding to their Antzrez collection with two new additions but with a twist! It is getting ever popular to add interchangeable straps to your watch so Michel Herbelin turned this concept on its head and instead of producing some new straps to add to their existing collections has instead designed two new watches that will be able to fit to any of their interchangeable straps.
They announced that both models will feature a Swiss Ronda movement which is quartz powered and one will be square faced and the other circular. The square faced model will be 19.1mm x 32.35mm and the circular model will be 29mm in circumference. Each model will feature a silver dial and the square one will have black roman numbers instead of hour markers and the circular one will have a 12, 3, 6 and 9 numbers and dash markers in between.
Cuystyomers willl be able to purchase single or double length wrap around straps in a range of colours including candy pink, baby blue, canary yellow and creme de menthe. Each watch will be priced at £495.00 and will be sold in a presentation, you can also pay an additional £80.00 for an extra single length strap and £110.00 for an extra double length strap.
