The New Fossil Q Control touchscreen smartwatch is ready to hit the UK market. Fossil have pulled out all the stops with this new model which now includes heart rate tracking. The watch features a stunning round full colour display that is fully customisable to suite your tastes and personality. You can customise the features too with on the go activity tracking, music control, voice activated Google, Google maps, and interchangeable watch straps.
The new watch is powered by Android Wear™ and is compatible with phones running Android™ 4.3+ or iOS 9.0+ however it is useful to note that not all features are supported by every phone so you would be wise to check your phone is on the list. ( Most new phones are supported) Just don’t try and connect it to your Nokia 3310. Like many other hybrid watches and smartwatches the watch uses Bluetooth Smart Enabled 4.1 low energy to keep a strong connection between your phone and your watch.
It also features some great notification features such as texts, emails, app alerts, multiple time zones, alarm clock, social media and calendar alerts making this seemingly do most if not all the same things as an Apple Watch.
