Rotary Watches Limited was founded in 1895 and has grown into the award-winning international brand that we know today. Moise Dreyfuss was the founder of the brand and to this day Rotary is still owned by the Dreyfuss Group. Moise Dreyfuss was incredibly dedicated to creating beautiful watches with timeless elegance so much so that his attention to detail and insistence on first class personal service has been commended many times for helping the brand to grow so quickly. In only 12 years of the founding of the company his success led to the opening of a UK office and the rest has been history.
Watch brand Rotary has announced that it has extended its British inspired watch collection adding the new Henley Collection.
The sturdy new first models are called ‘The Henley GMT‘ and they have a host of features that Rotary are very proud to boast about. These include a strong sapphire glass to protect the dial beneath from damage, a stainless steel link bracelet with half polished and half matte finish links, a beautiful deployment clasp often seem on very high end brand timepieces and a scratch-resistant ceramic uni-directional bezel. The watch has a bold red arrow tip style design to the 24 hour hand, this hand takes a full 24 hours to complete a sweep of the dial and can even be set independently from the main hour hand. This is so that it can allow the use to keep a second time zone displayed at all times. On top of this the rotating bezel enables a third time zone to be calculated so that you can keep time in any country no matter where you are in the world.
The watch has a water resistance rating of 100m, all the hands and hour markers are luminescent to make the time easily readable in poor or low lighting conditions and you are able to currently get this model in black and green.
