Rotary Watches Limited is a world renowned brand of classic timepieces that has won a whole host of awards award-winning. It was back in 1895 that the watch brand was born when Moise Dreyfuss coined the idea whilst living in the Swiss town of La Chaux de Fonds. Rotary to this day is still owned by the Dreyfuss Group which for those of us who know about the hardships that Swiss brands have had to go through for example the quartz crisis will know that that’s no small feat.
Moise Dreyfuss the watch companies founder was hugely dedicated to creating beautiful watches with timeless elegance throughout his lifetime. He maintained a supreme level of attention to detail and always insisted on a first class personal service which secured that the business grew rapidly year on year. It continued growing over 12 years from the date it was founded then the hard work paid off when the company success led to the opening of a UK office. This was a huge step for Rotary to move away from Switzerland and become an international brand.
It was back in 1925 that the infamous ‘winged coin’ Rotary logo was introduced and after the war, under the leadership of Teddy Dreyfuss, the brand developed further, with innovative watches, sophisticated marketing and powerful advertising campaigns that drove the business forward.

My great grandfather began making timepieces in a small workshop in a Swiss town called La Chaux de Fonds in 1895. For over a century we have preserved this heritage, crafting watches with the same quality materials and testing each watch to ensure it can withstand the rigours of everyday life.
