This watch represents the 40th anniversary with The Beatles, the purpose of its creation is to symbolise the eternal celebration of this band’s success and history with a limited number of models at 3,000. The dial of this limited edition masterpiece is a copy of the vinyl record ‘Abbey Road’ engraved with microgrooves. Striding along the groove of the record are the outlined figures of the famous four musicians, which was inspired by the cover which depicts The Beatles on the world famous pedestrian crossing. The heart of the dial features the iconic logo, also produced on the back of this exquisite watch.
A Tribute to David Bowie
Raymond Weil describes Bowie as an ‘icon of british rock’ and have tributed a watch to him also. This watch was created to celebrate what would have been Bowie’s 70th birthday and to represent his endless talent and creativity. One of the most important features of this magnificent timepiece is the lighting bolt present on the dial which Bowie once wore on his face, a globally recognised symbol. The most recent creation of Raymond Weil’s musical watch collection celebrates not only Buddy Holly’s 80th anniversary as the founder of rock and roll, but also his great talent and musical endeavours. Made in collaboration with Maria Elena Holly to tribute to Buddy Holly’s influences with many well known artists such as The Beatles, The Rolling Stones and Elton John.
