The Giro d’Italia 2017 is the 100th edition of the Giro d’Italia, the race started on 5 May in Alghero on the island of Sardinia, and will end on 28 May in Milan spanning a total of 3,609.1 km (2,243 miles) in 21 stages. It involved a number of medium to hard stages and also features a personal time trial section on the 10th May during the Sagrantino Stage and starts at Foligno and finishes i Montefalco.
