Maurice Lacroix wins two Red Dot Awards
Luxury Swiss watch brand Maurice Lacroix was awarded two prizes in the jewellery and watch categories this year at the prestigious Red Dot Awards 2017.
The brand has two stunning watches in their Masterpiece Skeleton collection on in red with a chronograph and one in blue that does not feature a chronograph, both are considered luxury timepieces and are getting a lot of attention worldwide currently. The tow models receives awards in excellence in design decided by a jury of experts from around the world.
Maurice Lacroix has been known as a strong contender at these awards since its first prize in 2007 and has managed to amass a further twelve prizes at the prestigious competition including these two.

The Masterpiece Chronograph Skeleton first launched last year and is the perfect embodiment of the Maurice Lacroix approach to watchmaking. It is not just modern and stylish but it is also highly technological and avant-garde.
The watch features a Stainless steel, Ø 43 mm, satin and polished finished case with a domed sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating on both sides. It has a screwed case back with wide sapphire crystal glass. The watch is also water-resistant to 5 atm. The watches hands are stamped hours and minutes hands with luminescent coating (blue emission) which are also rhodium plated. The watches bracelet is a genuine alligator leather strap available in black or brown with red, blue or black overstitching. The watches buckle is a folding steel clasp with push buttons
which is satin and has a polished finish. It features a mechanically wound ML134 caliber movement inside the watch which is reliable and accurate.

This particular model allows the user / wearer to see right into the inner workings of the watch including the watches gears, winding stem and mainspring.
